LUFC - Beckford could still be in trouble!

Jermaine Beckford could still find himself in trouble with the Football League for his clear elbow on the Millwall keeper in Monday night`s game.

Beckford was seen to strike the Millwall keeper but referee Alan Wiley only thought the incident at the time merited a yellow card.

Alan Wiley can change the decision in his match report if after a second look he deems the incident as violent conduct and a straight red card.

Let`s hope Mr Wiley doesn`t watch the TV!

I think when the ref takes another look he could be in trouble.
dazza71
And it was clearly seen on TV as well
herringthorpe
hmm, its hard to tell. it did look like he'd elbowed him on purpase but then again. there was no expression on becks face when it happened. almost as if he didnt know he'd done it...
Dobbo96
I think it was more of a, dont be noticed look.....lol......And if the game wasnt on sky then Beckford would have been fine....
Gromjo
Thats true Gromjo, I don't think the ref should be allowed to watch it on TV and change his decision!
dazza71
Incident dealt with by the Ref at the time, should be no case to answer.
Tiny T
it did look bad, but then so did Fuseini's flying elbow on Robinson in the first half. He also should have been off.
AmsterdamWhite
Unless ref says he booked Becks for the push on the defender and didnt see the elobow he is okay....out of order for Sky to show him the incident in the tunnel before he has written his report as he should file his report WITHOUT seeing any replays
