'If It's Football, It's Vital'

LUFC - Blackpool still waiting for Leeds hearing

Blackpool are still waiting for a date into whether Leeds acted illegally when tempting the then seasiders boss to Elland Road in December.

Blackpool chairman Karl Oyston is still adamant that Leeds illegally appointed Grayson; a spokesman for the Football League said 'There is still no date set.
'We are waiting for all parties involved to agree a date when the hearing can be held.'

Grayson resigned his post at Blackpool and then took over the manager`s position at Leeds without the seaside club accepting his resignation.

Oyston speaking in the Blackpool Gazette said 'The way it happened was wrong and we were left with no alternative but to take the action we did.'

Blackpool are looking for a six figure payment and are taking legal action against both Leeds United and Simon Grayson.

I am sure the football league will come down on their side!!!!

I dont think they like Oyston any more trhan Bates as hes another fully paid up member of the awkward squad. I guess they will like Blackpool more than Leeds in the final analysis though. If we have to pay up for Larry so be it.

we wont get any favours as we know, but if Bates has acted unfairly we should get punished, end of.
