LUFC - Telfer departs Leeds

Veteran defender Paul Telfer has had his contract terminated at the club by mutual consent.

The 37 year old signed for ex manager Gary McAllister in the summer on a one year deal after originally arriving on a non contract basis.

He made 18 appearances for the club making his debut in the Carling Cup clash against Crystal Palace.

Looked ok at the start of the season but his age and his lack of pace soon made him a liability.(playing alongside Michalik probably didn't help either!)
