LUFC - Grayson gracious in defeat

Simon Grayson was gracious in defeat after his Leeds United side were deservedly beaten on Saturday at Walsall.

Leeds who went into the game on the back of three straight wins put in a lacklustre performance against their League One strugglers.

Speaking on the teamtalk website Grayson said 'I told the players before the game that we could expect a battle, and we certainly got one. Full credit to Walsall, they started the game brightly and we did not get going with the energy we have shown in the last few weeks"
Leeds faired slightly better in the second half with Jonathan Douglas probably having Leeds best chance, continuing Grayson said 'In the second-half we got round the pitch more, won more second balls and had some sustained pressure but didn't get the breaks.'
Leeds now have a quick chance to put things right when they go to another struggling side Leyton Orient on Tuesday night.

I dont know what he is thinking, we dont want another season in this league, the performance was very poor dont mean to be rude but we need to win games against the likes of walsall we cant keep dropping points like this and expect to get into the play offs to be honest we dont deserve to playing like that, No transfers at leeds with less than a day to go hope Grayson knows what he is doing beacuse the team he has at the moment is never going to get us out of this league, you need to be able to put a run of 8-10 games where you are unbeaten to get up there sorry to say this team could not put a 5 games unbeaten run together we still look weak in certain areas and also we need more fire power up the top things are starting to dry up PLEASE GRAYSON BRING IN SOME PLAYERS TO GET US OUT OFF THIS LEAGUE.........

Its always good to have a little kick up the bum, when things start going well. Lets hope that Saturday's defeat sinks in good and fast and gives everyone perspective.

We haven't got many more bad perfromances left this season before we are out of the promotion picture. I really hope he brings in some players on Monday or I fear once the loan players leave we will finish mid table!

Looked like you didnt turn up on Saturday, fortunate not to have conceded 2...I thought you'd turned the corner after putting in some good performances prior to that..Still plenty of games left and your still handily placed though..
