Thankgod he's gone so quickly, poor old Charlton they are already struggling and now they have got mr idol!
if he's good enough for championship in their eyes, why wouldnt we be playing him? they better be paying his full contract!
Can you believe Kandol in the Championship and Beckford in Leaue One!!!!!!
can you believe hull city = premiership and leeds united = league one!!
Bring back Kendol
pete mc
Maybe we should have kept him...I know this sounds desperate but aint we at times ????
I wonder how he did for Charlton on Saturday?
cant understand why we didn't keep him, dont care what anyone says he has scored goals at this level and has proved that so what has that left us with at leeds lets see, Beckford class act he has scored 21 goals for us this season, Becchio is a player that always gives 110% but has not scored for a few games now and Trundle who is on loan scored 1 goal and is very skillfull but thats all we have up front for us here what if becckford get injured again, who do we get the goals from, i know a goalkeeper is there to save shots and try to keep a clean sheet,so am i daft in saying a striker is there to score you's not happening hope grayson brings in another striker beacuse we need someone who is hungry for goals, if you cant score goals you dont win matches....MOT
Ovington and Grella are there waiting to be signed.....Kandol is a lazy ***** who is a good poacher but thats not worth it.....He is a confidence player and he loses his confidence very easily......***** and like I said Grella is waiting to sign and ovington is waiting in the reserves...
Gromjo. You say things with out thinking. You say Kendol lazy in one sentance then say he's a good poacher, Lets think Lee chapman,Rudd Van nasalhair, Ian Rush, Robbie fowler, are all good poachers & we don't slag them. And how come he didn't do to bad at the start of his career at Leeds & dont he play in a higher league? (just). Yes do bring in fresh lads too.
pete mc
I didnt say that without thinking...He is a good poacher in that he finishes....Every other part of his game is *****....If hes not running fot the ball or trying to create space then in my opinion that makes him a ***** player and that is the opinion of 95% of people on this site....Even the Millwall fans were saying it and we have been saying it for almost a year now....10 goals probably didnt lie at the start last season but I dont really have any memories of quality goals from him last year....He plays in a higher division because Charlton are looking at the stats rather then the player....In most Champions League match we see players covering about 8km a game when they show the stats....I would say he struggles to make 3km....
Good strikers are not the ones that run here there & every where just to mark up their km's, A good striker reads the game well in advance of the ball being played , He creats his own space, awearness, & sometimes his own luck. (I know he.s not a striker but its the some principle,) Hughes was keeping up with a Peterborough winger & most of the kop was Shouting get a tackle in now Im a level 3 coach & one of the main principles is be patiant a win the ball when you can & not over commit your self,So are the 95% of the Kop right & because he intercepted the cross But didn't get the tackle in to please the crowd does that make him a bad player too. Remember they av made the grade alot of players dont. I heard a saying once Until you can pick faults with yourself Don't call others. Have opinion, but lets not be vulgar with your **** words, he's Human after all.
pete mc
I take your last point into account there about giving him a break but in fairness I think you are underestimating Kandol being patient.....Becchio is a fan favourite because of the effort he gives in running while in contrast Kandol is the opposite....He really just doesnt try....Now you are going to have more of an idea then me because you are at much, much more matches then me but the lad just doesnt try and like I said, the Milwall fans also completely agree with what I am saying....Our forward needs to be use to make the space for Beckford and I just dont think that Kandol is able to do that...
Gromjo I respect you opinion, & theres nothing wrong with a healthy debate. Becchio is a ER favourite & mine too & I agree he runs here, there & everywhere But his end produts an't so good. Most of his goals come from either crosses or set pieces not from his own making, (Think of this If I asked you to push a wall down with you bare hand & you was at it say 24hr & got no were & then I came along with a bulldozer & knocked it down in 30 seconds who has done the most work You who is knackerd or me with a end product). So you can run about all day and achive nothing, Give me the poacher while his team mates are the bulldozer. Remember we're talking about strikers, Mid-fielders are different & have to work for their wages & get little praise. Hope you understand my analogy!
pete mc
I did actually understand your analagy which is a change as everything usually gos right over my point is that I completely agree with you in that we need a good poacher who ticks the boxes like Viduka did but I think Beckford is that person for us....Beckford does all that for us and more but Kandol does that(when his confidence is high) and then does nothing else....I think it is just the work rate that annoys me and alot of other people...Nobody can be perfect but I just get really aggrevated when I see a Leeds player not trying to get to the ball and expecting everyone to do the work for him....For me its a work rate thing and Kandol doesnt cut it for me...
I agree all the way, seen Beckford win loss causes When other forwards dont try to win & that includes Becchio. And if only we could get another Viduka.
