LUFC - Gardner departs Leeds
Young defender Scott Gardner has left Leeds United after his contract was cancelled by mutual consent.
Gardner was a product of Leeds fine academy and he made his debut in the Carling Cup last season, he didn`t start again until the last game of the season against Gillingham.
A lot of Leeds fans will be said to see the 20 year old released from the club.
Speaking on the official website Gardner said 'I'm sad to be leaving because I've been here for a long time, but this is the next chapter for me now. There's a good squad of players here, and hopefully this is now an opportunity for me to play regular competitive football.'

Sad to see him leave, looked good in pre season last year.

looked good in the two reserve games I have seen this season as well...difficult to understand with Frazer injured and Hughes struggling at RB

sad to see him go but at least hes got rid of a bit of the dead weight....theres no need to hold on to a player thats not been good just because you like him....Good luck in the future!
