LUFC - Kandol returns to Leeds

Tresor Kandol looks set to return to Leeds United after his six month`s loan period with Millwall finished today.

Kandol has score eight goals in nineteen starts during his loan spell at Millwall and manager Kenny Jackett was keen to keeper the striker for the rest of the season.

Jackett still hasn`t ruled out signing the Congolese striker, speaking to Sky Sports News Jackett said 'It looks unlikely he will stay with us and we have made some enquiries about it.
He has had a good first-half of the season with us and we are very pleased with him.
We will just have to see what happens in the next few weeks regarding him and Leeds.'
Kandol took no part in Millwall`s 2-0 victory at Hereford United on Tuesday night.

I don't think it will be for long, I just think Leeds don't want him to go for another club who are in the promotion mix.

I dont think they would really mind....he is more of a liability to whatever team he goes to...
Gromjo
now we can get rid of trundle and put kandol in the first team.... oh wait! i see a problem with my plan!

So, who could we do without, assuming we can keep Naylor, Dickinson and Trundle until the end of the season? For my money, it's as follows: Defenders - Parker (loan for experience), Telfer (out). Midfielders: loan/sell two from Prutton, Kilkenny and Sweeney. Strikers: loan/sell Kandol. Any thoughts?

ps...my thoughts above are assuming that we keep all our other current players!

come on Binmen have a whip round you can have him, how many milk bottle tops can you raise.+6

it might be that they have offered less than the 250k we paid for Kandol. But a loan is better than nowt. Otherwise he's warming our bench and we're paying 100% of his wages!

Give him away !!!!
Tiny T
Why don't Leeds like hm?
Matt_Us
i'd rather him warm our subs bench that give him away to millwall and he scores a few goals for them towards the end of the season. we could end up playing them in the play-offs - those games would be quiet affairs......!!!
roberto-74
Send him back to Barnet!
