LUFC - Parker chased by Seagulls

LUFC - Parker chased by Seagulls

Leeds left back Ben Parker is being chased by fellow league one side Brighton and Hove Albion according to reports today.

The 21 year old is once again struggling to get a game in the side after the return from injury of Alan Sheehan; he`s also got stiff competition from fellow youngster Aiden White.

Parker has so far made 13 appearances this season and was putting in some very good performances; he also scored his first goal for the club, a 30 yard effort at Northampton in the cup. Soon afterwards he lost his place when Sheehan returned from injury and reclaimed his place.

He also spent a large chunk of last season on loan at Darlington helping them to the play offs before losing out in the semi finals to Rochdale.

Brighton have recently had fellow Leeds player Bradley Johnson on loan and would also still like to take the midfielder back to the Withdean Stadium if he became available after scoring five goals in ten appearances during his loan spell.
