LUFC - Officials Leeds United v Colchester United

Mr Nigel Miller will be the man in charge of Saturday`s League One clash between Leeds United and Colchester United at Elland Road.

Mr Miller far this season has refereed 16 games; in those 16 games that he`s refereed he`s shown 37 yellow cards and 3 reds.

His last game in charge was the midweek clash between Sheffield Wednesday and QPR.

Last season he refereed 36 games showing 67 yellow cards and 8 reds.

The last time he was in charge of a Leeds United game was last season when they drew 1-1 against Leyton Orient at Elland Road, in that game he sent off Orient`s Sean Thornton and was accused of being biased to Leeds United.
Dennis Wise had actually asked for him to be replaced before the game because he felt that he`d got a vendetta against him, Miller infuriated Wise during a 1-1 draw away at Southend United when he refused to give Leeds a clear penalty.

He was actually in charge of Leeds last home game against Ipswich Town in the Championship when a pitch invasion caused the game to be delayed 30 minutes.

The last time he was in charge of a Colchester United game was last season when they lost 1-0 against Barnsley away from home.

Referee: Mr N.S Miller (County Durham)
Assistants: P. Bankes & A.C Newell
Fourth Official: D.I Storrie

He's had a chequered past refereeing Leeds games, let's hope he's not the main talking point at 5pm Saturday.
