LUFC - McAllister going nowhere

Gary McAllister has received the dreaded vote of confidence from club chairman Ken Bates.

Leeds have seen a tremendous run of results in September when Leeds won six in a row to only six wins in the last fifteen, which culminated in an embarrassing cup exit at part timers Histon Town in the FA Cup on Sunday.

The run of results have seen Leeds drop out of the play off places in recent weeks and with a hard run of fixtures in December looming the pressure is certainly on the Leeds boss.

Bates met up with McAllister, chief executive Shaun Harvey and technical director Gwyn Williams in Monaco on Monday to discuss Leeds progress so far this season.

Bates claims that the meeting was arranged before the embarrassment of Sunday, we all know though that Bates was never slow in disposing of managers services during his time at Chelsea and I am sure McAllister will be feeling under pressure unless Leeds can get back to their early season form.

Id like to see Aidie Boothroyd, excellent young manager, if Macca goes, how about at Town?

Dont really take any notice nowadays,to be honest barry white...Unless we win our first ten games under a new manager, our lot will be baying for his blood, next thing you know he's history..lol..lol..lol..They'd find some reason to sack sir alex fergueson..lol rofl(no antagonism intended)..l..

Fickle fans eh? Same at most clubs. If we dont start well in our next home match it will be interestig to see how our fans react. Not very well I expect!
BrighouseWhite
Your due to bounce back again id say ..If you do win on Saturday I dont know that will be a good thing or a bad thing for leeds,as it may well influence the tenure of certain members of the management and playing staff alike..!!!!

DOH..!!! DOH !!!

I genuinly thought you would get a result @ tranmere barry white.!..
80s terrier
Still say the only basis for the vote of confidence is the fact that papa smurf has no money to pay him off...
