LUFC - Beckford injury woe

Leeds are still waiting to find out the extent of Jermaine Beckford`s hamstring injury.

The in form striker limped off the pitch late on in the second half and is now a serious doubt for the FA Cup tie this weekend.

Beckford who has scored six goals in his last three games will be sorely missed if the injury is to rule him out for quite a while.

If it`s a full blown hamstring tear then Leeds could be without their nineteen goal leading scorer till the New Year!

With the busy Christmas period just around the corner and Leeds slipping out of the play off places with the defeat at Northampton these are worrying times for Leeds fans.

Gary McAllister speaking on the official website said 'Jermaine's got a hamstring problem; we`ll need to wait to see the degree of the problem there.'

Let`s hope he can return to action sooner rather than later.
