Bates' Buddy Misses Out

For sometime it was thought Ken Bates had his old buddy Dennis Wise pencilled in for the Leeds hot seat, but that came to an end last week when Kevin Blackwell signed on the dotted line.

The Coventry midfielder begins a suspension this week and won't face the Whites on Saturday.

Wise was booked for the 10th time this season in the win over Sheffield United last time out and must now sit out the next two matches.

Coventry, who did Leeds a massive favour by beating Sheffield United last week, have other worries too. Stephen Hughes is still unavailable with an Achilles injury, while Isaac Osbourne (knee) is also missing.

Richard Duffy and Stuart Giddings have both returned to training after knee injuries, but neither will be fit enough to be considered for the Ricoh Arena clash.
