LUFC - Delph nominated for monthly award

Fabian Delph has been nominated for The powerade League One player of the month.

The highly talented midfielder has been the find of the season so far for Leeds and has been the pivotal point of the midfield.

Only last week he scored two fantastic 20 yard goals in the same game against Walsall.

His performances have brought him to the attention of a number of Premiership clubs and Sunderland and Arsenal are two clubs who are interested in a £6 million pound deal for the youngster.

The other players who have been nominated for the award in League one are
Sam Baldock - Milton Keynes Dons
Rickie Lambert - Bristol Rovers
Joel Porter - Hartlepool United

Delph will be hoping to become the second Leeds player to win the award this season after Jermaine Beckford picked up the award for September.

The winner will be announced on Sky Sports One`s Big League weekend just after 6pm on Friday 7th November.
