LUFC - Leeds duo up for award

With only a week to go before the end of October two Leeds United players are currently in the running for the PFA 2UP Fans` Player of the Month Award.


Leeds striker Jermaine Beckford who won the award last month and rising star Fabian Delph are in the top four in the votes.

After his two sensational goals yesterday I think we should make sure that Delph gets our vote, go to their site and vote for Delph.


October`s contenders for PFA 2UP Fans` Player of the Month Award

With just a week to go until this month`s voting closes, the leading October contenders for the PFA 2UP Fans' Player of the Month Awards have been announced.

League One
Fabian Delph Leeds United

Jermaine Beckford Leeds United

Simon Cox Swindon Town

Glenn Murray Brighton and Hove Albion


Voting for this month`s award closes at midnight on October 31. Fans can vote for their favourite players at http://fansaward.givemefootball.com/vote?pid=2&cid=10079


Every month of the football season, four fans who have voted for the divisional winners get the chance to present the PFA 2UP Fans` Player of the Month Award to their football hero on the pitch at a home game. One of the yearly fan winners will be invited to the prestigious PFA Player of the Year Awards dinner.


The PFA 2UP Divisional Fans` Player Awards are the only official awards of the Professional Footballers` Association that are voted for by the fans. The awards are

endorsed by The Fans Supporters Federation.
