LUFC - Beckford and Delph make team of the week

Fabian Delph and Jermaine Beckford both made this weekend`s team of the week for their performances against Brighton and Hove Albion.

Beckford who has just won the League One player of the month for September scored two goals to take his tally for the season to 13.

Youngster Delph is quickly turning himself into a fans favourite with continuous man of the match performances. His performances are winning him a lot of admirers and quite a few Premiership clubs are already showing an interest in the 18 year old.

Also in the team of the week was Leeds Tresor Kandol who is currently on loan at Saturday`s opponents Millwall for his two goals in the Lions 3-1 at Tranmere.

The team is chosen by the Press Association for the top eleven performing players of that weekend.
