LUFC - Referee for the Rotherham game

Scott Mathieson will be the man in charge for Leeds United`s Johnstones Paints Trophy match against Rotherham United on Wednesday.

Mr Mathieson so far this season has refereed 9 games; in those 9 games that he`s refereed he`s shown 17 yellow cards and 0 reds.

Last season he refereed 35 games showing 62 yellow cards and 2 reds.

The last time he was in charge of a Leeds United game was last season at home against Tranmere Rovers when Leeds lost 2-0.

The last time he was in charge of Rotherham United was in last season`s Fa Cup when the Millers lost 3-0 at home against Forest Green.

I must admit Kazza I never used to be a big fan of his (surprise surprise) but that was about ten years ago when I last saw him officiate but he does seem to have improved by the amount of cards he gives out. To average less than two a game must be one of the best records.
