LUFC -Beckford wins second award

Jermaine Beckford won his second award of September by being named the Powerade League One player of the month.

After somehow being overlooked in August he looked less likely to pick up the award for September with some of his opposition for the award doing as well or better than him.

Beck`s is delighted with the award which has come on the back of him already netting eleven times this season. When speaking about the award on the official website he was fairly philosophical when he said "It`s nice to get some goals early in the season because it`s all about helping us achieve what we want to achieve, but it`s where we are and what we have done in May that counts"

Congratulations on your double award winning month from all at Vital Leeds.
