LUFC - McAllister quick to congratulate opposition

Gary McAllister was quick to congratulate Peterborough on Saturday after they had brought to an end Leeds six match winning run.

Speaking on the official website Macca said "Peterborough deserved it; they showed a grit and determination to stop us playing and were worthy winners"

Macca was critical of our own players on Saturday saying "Only three or four got pass marks and when it`s eleven against eleven you can`t carry that amount of people.

With a full house at London Road for the clash, most clubs are treating this differently to any other game this season, and putting in that little bit more in front of a big crowd and the fact it`s against Leeds United.
After the game the boss was quick to bring this to the attention of the players by saying "We`ll see more and more of this, this season and we have to be ready"

McAllister will be hoping the players are back on track with Brighton the visitors to Elland Road this weekend.

I hope privately Macca did, gracious in defeat, but not acceptable. Macca has take his fair share as playing 3 youngsters who were all subbed may have been a bit too much too early.
