LUFC - Beckford wins award

LUFC - Beckford wins award

Someone at Leeds United has finally picked up an award this season.

Jermaine Beckford has been chosen as the League One fans player of the month for September.

Beckford scored four goals in the month to add to his seven that he got in the first month of the season.

The striker was the League One player of the year last season and is already over half way to his goal tally that he achieved last season.

PFA chief executive Mick McGuire speaking on the Leeds official website said "His all round play suggests he`s destined for great things"

Let`s hope he can take us back into the Premiership in a few seasons time.
