LUFC - Macca nominated for Manager of the month

Gary McAllister has been nominated for the September manager of the month for League One.

Leeds played six games during the month winning all six including victories at previously unbeaten at home Carlisle United.
The Whites also went to Swindon and were reduced to ten men after only nine minutes yet came away with a 3-1 victory.

Leeds also beat Championship club Crystal Palace 4-0 in the Carling Cup.

McAllister`s main rival will be Nigel Adkins, the Scunthorpe boss who won five games out of five. Also nominated are Kenny Jackett (Millwall) who won four out of four League games and their only loss came in the JPT. Oldham`s John Sheridan has also been nominated but they have a very average record this month with two wins and two draws in the League and losing in the JPT at Morecambe.

The winner will be announced on Thursday.

Good luck Macca.
