LUFC -Carlisle United v Leeds United preview

Leeds return to their usual lunch time kick off for away games against Carlisle United this weekend after a rare 3pm start at Swindon last week.

The two clubs are very familiar with each other after meeting four times last season including the Play off semi final when Leeds won in dramatic circumstances.

Form
Carlisle lost their first game of the season last weekend when going down 2-1 at Scunthorpe United.
Leeds won on their travels 3-1 at Swindon Town playing over 80 minutes with only ten men.

So far this season at home Carlisle have an excellent home record winning three out of three. They beat Crewe Alexandra 4-2, Yeovil Town 4-1 and Southend United 2-1.

Leeds have so far beat Scunthorpe United 2-1, Swindon Town 3-1 and drew at Yeovil Town 1-1.

Team news

Carlisle United
Ex Leeds man Michael Bridges has been passed fit and could play against his former club after suffering with a hamstring injury.
New loan signing Jennison Myrie-Williams could make his debut after joining from Bristol City.

Leeds United
The Whites will be without Alan Sheehan who serves the first game of a three match ban following his sending off at Swindon last week.
Aiden White or Andy Hughes are most likely to fill his place in the left back spot.

The clubs have only met on eight previous occasions with Carlisle winning two, Leeds four and two draws.
The most recent clash was when Leeds won a dramatic play off semi final second leg 2-0, Jonny Howson scored in the last minute to give Leeds a 3-2 aggregate win.
