LUFC - Gardner joins Celtic

Young Leeds defender Scott Gardner has joined Farsley Celtic on a month`s loan.

The 20 year old had a similar loan spell at Celtic last season when they were playing in the Blue Square conference.
He`s the fourth young Leeds player to join non League sides in loan deals recently.
With an irregular reserve fixture list the club have taken the opportunity to send the lads out on loan to gain first team experience.

Gardner made his debut in the First round of the Carling Cup against Macclesfield Town last season when Leeds won 1-0. He had to wait until the last day of the season to make his next appearance in a 2-1 League win against Gillingham.
