LUFC - Man in the middle

The man in the middle for the game with Crewe will be Trevor Kettle from Berkshire.

The whistle blower started refereeing in 1983 and progressed through the lower Leagues, he was appointed to the national list of assistant referee`s in 1998. His highest profile appointment was as assistant referee in the 2002 Carling cup final between Blackburn Rovers and Tottenham Hotspur.

He was appointed to the referee`s list in 2003 and generally referees in the lower Division`s of the Football League.

Kettle was last in charge of a Leeds game in 2006 when we lost 4-0 at Elland Road against Stoke City.
Let`s hope he brings us better luck against Crewe!

So far this season he`s refereed 4 games and dished out 11 yellow cards and no reds.
Last season he refereed 36 games and dished out 145 yellows and 6 reds.

Referee: Trevor Kettle (Berkshire)
Assistants: J Knowles & D Unsworth
