Hardly a man to forget ... and Leeds insist John Charles will ALWAYS be remembered at Elland Road ... they have commissioned a bust of the club legend. It is a further honour for the 'Gentle Giant' following his death two years ago.
Leeds have already renamed the West Stand as a lasting tribute to the former Wales international and will display the bust in the reception area of the stadium when it is completed.
Charles was awarded a CBE in 2001, he left Leeds in 1957 for a then world record fee of £65,000 to sign for Italian giants Juventus.
