Millwall and Leeds Set for Byfield Battle?

Millwall and Leeds Set for Byfield Battle?

Rumours are circulating all over the place that Darren Byfield, former Aston Villa trainee and the lucky man who gets to…spend time with Jamelia, may be London or Leeds bound this summer.

Byfield was bizarrely released by Bristol City at the end of their unsuccessful promotion attempt, despite finishing the Championship year as the clubs top scorer.

Firstly, Vital Millwall broke the news that Byfield has effectively "begged" to return to London to the club that sold him onto Bristol just over a year ago. It now appears that Leeds United may well be interested in the former Aston Villa youth product as Gary McAllister is reported to be a big fan of the 31-year-old.

Plymouth and Doncaster Rovers are also said to be interested parties.

More, if it`s relevant, as we get it, right here from Vital Leeds United.
