Police Meddle With Leeds Fixtures, Twice!

Leeds United will be starting their season a little earlier than the majority of League One on opening day, and have a second fixture change already, courtesy of the Police, just days after the supposed “fixture list” was announced.

The Day 1 trip to Scunthorpe United, set for a 3pm kick-off will now take place at the earlier time of 12 noon “on the advice” of Her Majesty’s finest.

Previously, the boys in blue that deal with the Posh lot of Peterborough similarly moved their clubs home tie with the Super-Whites to a noon kick off, from yet another 3pm start.

Just how the Police think it helps is anyone’s guess, if there’s going to be trouble, there will be trouble regardless of what time you have the game guys!

Not much point altering the kick off time at the GALPHARM...Sounds like you lot will be getting your ticket allocation restricted to 1200...

The early kick off time is to allow for the Scunny ground staff to clear up all the dummys you lot leave behind after your battering..
