Belgians set for Elland Road

Leeds United have announced that Belgian Jupiler League side Sporting Lokeren will be visiting Elland Road this summer.

The fourth of the pre-season games to be announced, Lokeren, or to give them their full title, K.S.C. Lokeren Oost-Vlaanderen will travel to Yorkshire for their match on the 2nd of August, and is likely to be the last friendly before the League One season kicks off once more.

Ticket arrangements seem yet to be determined, and will be announced in due course no doubt by the clubs official website, Leedsunited.com.

Vital Leeds Opinion: Well KSC Lokeren will prove a fantastic test ahead of the League One season opener a week later. No offence to the Irish League sides but for Leeds, if wishing to be tested, really need to be facing opposition of a higher stature, and a Belgian side that has boasted Jan Koller, and Eiğur Guğjohnsen father in their squad at some point, is probably a very good way to do so. Bravo Leeds United!

Probably a fitting quality of opposition for you lot to try out your "thunderous bobblers" on .. Even then cant see you getting one past either Jugoslav Lazic,or Griffin De Vroe ... Maybe your 1st team coache will have to devised something a little bit more potent for the comming season...Could i suggeat something with a little more thunder and a bit less bobble,or would that be a bit too technical for your strikers to take on board..lol...LOL..ROFL...
