Leeds Fans ‘No’ To Beckford eBay Sale!

Vital Leeds members have opted, if given the choice, not to stick top striker Jermaine Beckford on eBay, at least for the moment.

I asked this time around, with League One a reality for next season, would you let our top scorer depart Elland Road for pastures new, in return for extra spending money for the extension of our loan spell in the lower leagues (Vital Walsall believe we are merely being borrowed from the Champ/Prem!)

53% opted for the most sensible option of letting Becks leave, should a club from the higher divisions come in with a price that’s right Brucey.

23% believe that Chairman Ken Bates, and/or manager Gary McAllister should be saying to the front man “what shirt are you wearing Bruv? Leeds? We’re being serious!” The man should be ours to keep?

A cynical, sarcastic 22% have admitted that had they really got the final say (or nay say) at Elland Road, that Jermaine Beckford would currently be placed on eBay, going to the highest bidder.

3% said “other” but failed to leave much comment, perhaps they intend to shoot him into space?

2% believed if Chelsea were to offer us £42million, they’d more than likely accept.
