'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Doncaster Rovers 1-0 Leeds United

James Hayter's header early in the second half was enough to see Doncaster Rovers promoted to the English Championship.

Leeds United will be naturally disappointed after a below-par performance saw them defeated in a playoff final once again, and no doubt giving Gary McAllister some food for thought as he plots the close-season transfer window.

More coming up from a disappointed Vital Leeds.

Justice has been done! A club that should never again play in the upper echelons of professional football is to spend at least one more season of lower league football. Hopefully the powers that be send them to their proper level.

Has Bates paid up the 2000 quid he owes us after the brutal and unprovoked assault on an innocent bin at Vale Park yet?

Cant see the mighty leeds being able to attract any decent players now...Journeymen,and old crocks yes,but the agents will see you for what you really are and thats a spent force..Last season you held out a chance for players to get themselves noticed by other bigger clubs with what looked like a half decent chance of promotion ,but now youve blown it..Think youll struggle this time round, cant see mc alister sticking around either once he sees that hes on a looser, building up moral and finding players to replace the deserters is going to be tough...
