'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Leeds V Huddersfield Mini-Preview

Join Vital Leeds this evening as the mighty Leeds take on Yorkshire rivals Huddersfield Town in the re-arranged League One fixture.

For those of you unable to make the match itself, the forums, as ever will be open and 100% free to use for Leeds, Huddersfield and all other supporters (even that Millwall lot) to discuss the match, football and just about any other topic you can think of!

The Teams

Huddersfield captain Jon Worthington’s ankle injury has cleared up in time for him to face Leeds United this evening. The BBC are reporting that Frank Sinclair and forward Phil Jevons will miss the match through injury.

Leeds United were rocked this week with the news that Jermaine Beckford will probably miss out due to a reoccurrence of his ankle injury picked up against Leyton Orient. Tresor Kandol is on standby!

Alan Sheehan is suspended but Neil Kilkenny looks set to play despite an(other) ankle injury!

Gary Mac
Leeds boss Gary McAllister has admitted knowing full well that this weeks arbitration hearing will bring the club back into the limelight, or lowlight (depending on how you look at it) but is determined for his side to keep their focus.

Speaking to Leedsunited.com the boss spoke of his desire for concentration:

“It is difficult not to get your mind wandering towards this decision”

“This is where self discipline comes in. I'm passing on to the players that they have to focus on winning at Huddersfield and blanking it out.

“I've looked at scenarios about the points and what could happen, but the players and I have got to finish the season with effort and make sure teams don't creep up on us.

So, join us on the Vital Leeds Forums, the match kicks off at 1945 (7.45pm!)
