Who Needs Beckford? Maybe Not Us

This time around Vital Leeds United asked you whether we could survive without talismanic striker Jermaine Beckford, and the results have been (at least to me) somewhat surprising!

A whopping 69% of the voters believe that the club could do just fine without Beckford. Perhaps then we should suggest to Mr McAllister that we cash in now, before it could be too late?

14%, reckon that we need Beckford to remain at Leeds United and fire us all the way back to the Premier League.

17% were concerned that losing Beckford may involve having to play Tresor Kandol.

No player is irreplaceable. You just get on wth it if he leaves.

I agree with Dazza...We will Survive without him...We will find another hero :-)

This is real sour grapes, a pre-emptive `didnt think he was any good anyway' Beckford is a quality player and we would be a worse team without his 20 goals. I guess we're so used to losing players to teams we perceive as garbage (Lewis to Derby, Healy to Fulham and so forth) that we expect to lose him. What I'm saying is even if we lost him or Marques send them on their way with a pat on the back instead of a gob in the ear. If we're going up then they have played a part, and I for one would say Cheers.

If it wasn't for him you wouldn't be in the position you are in now!
will it ever happen
