Freedman: A Vital Leeds Apology
Dougie Freedman if you keep performing like you did against Port Vale, you shall go down in Leeds United history.
I was sceptical when even the notion of Freedman joining Leeds was suggested; I was sceptical when Leon Constantine was sent out on loan. I was livid when Mr Freedman said he wasn’t interested in joining the club and baffled when he changed his mind.
However the Crystal Palace striker came, saw, and scored 2 goals on his first start that any Leeds United player would have been proud of. I can only hope that his influence will now rub off on the goal-shy Jermaine Beckford.
Sorry again Dougie, I hope you forgive me!
