Something Iffy Going on at Leeds

Iffy Onuora may look to Leeds United’s excellent crop of youngsters to solve the injury crisis currently hitting Lincoln City.

A number of the senior-imps have come a crocker of late, including Lee Frecklington, Gary Croft, Lee Ridley, Lenell John-Lewis and Ryan Amoo. With so many of the more established players injured, Onuora is looking for short-term replacements and having seen the Leeds youngsters in the 2-2 reserve’s draw, may be phoning boss Gary McAllister sometime soon.

Onuora said: “Grant Brown and I were certainly impressed by what we saw from this young Leeds team.'

“With the injuries we have, the squad is just beginning to look a little threadbare.”

Makes a change from firing loan players up the leagues I suppose!
