'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Newcastle the next Leeds?

Shortly after our demise, Mr Smith decided to make like a rat and leave, choosing the team in red that play across the Pennines.

Now at Newcastle, Smith finds himself potentially on the edge of yet another relegation dog fight, as Kevin Keegan seemingly tries his hardest to prove the point that you should ‘never go back’ when it comes to football managers.

The QUITTER said: “People might be scared to say it, but I'm not. I've been there before with Leeds United, and I know how difficult it is.

“I was relegated at Leeds, and I know how it feels. At times like that you need everyone to go out there with the right attitude, and with the courage to put their bodies on the line.”

Something inside me kind of wants Newcastle to go down!

Dazza i agree with you Big Sam should have been given more time..Now Newcastle are running out of it..Have to say it will be a shock if they get relegated..But it wont hurt me..lol

Were will Smith go then or is he running out of options, no he could come back to us. Like Hell would have to freeze over first.

I wouldnt like to see Newcastle go down, whatever you accuse them of now, sacking managers for fun, their fans believing they should be cmpeting wih the big 3 well that's us five years ago. Who'd replace them? STOKE, WATFORD god help us! Now Man Utd there's another story, who've done so much to damage English football and create a gulf between the aristocracy and the peasants, I'd love to see them go down. I wish the fans of Newcastle well, they dont deserve the idiocy of Mike Ashley who should have stuck by Sam Allardyce.

I agree mattbb can't quite believe what's happening at Newcastle..The fans are amazing and don't deserve this constant battering each week...Keegan don't look botherd one bit each week they interview him on MOTD!!!He should have never been given the jobback in the first place...
