'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Leeds Boss Delighted With Win

Leeds United boss Gary McAllister was naturally pretty pleased with his sides' 1-0 victory over Swindon Town.

A Tresor Kandol goal was enough to earn all 3 points and give the new United boss (can we still call him new?) his first win since taking charge of affairs following the departure of Dennis 'Sell-Out' Wise.

McAllister said: 'When you come back into football having been out for a while, there's nothing like winning a match.

'There's an old adage that I've used all the way through my career which is that 'the harder you work, the luckier you get', And these guys have been working really hard. They deserved a break.

'It was an awkward one today and we did everything very well.'

As far as I am concerned Macca, the jury is still out. You failed to prove yourself as a manager at Coventry City and it's taken you a while to win at Leeds. Use this as a springboard to a winning run; I will happily admit I'm wrong!
