Leeds Striker Nominated

Leeds United striker Jermaine Beckford has been nominated in the Football League Awards.

Unfortunately for us, he’s been nominated in the best goal category for a strike chalked up whilst he was on loan at now Championship side Scunthorpe United, who he was heavily linked with a summer move following Leeds’ relegation and subsequent financial troubles.

The winner will be announced at the third annual Football League Awards, which will take place on the 2nd of March.

He's scored a few more crackers for us this season. I remember the goal he got though whilst on loan at Scunny.
