Parker Departs Leeds United

Ben Parker has left Leeds United for Darlington on an initial one-month loan today.

The left-back managed 5 successive starts prior to the appointment of new manager Gary McAllister, however since then has lost his starting position to Alan Sheehan who is at the club on loan from Leicester City.

Parker now moves to the League Two side with the hope of gaining valuable first team experience, and the loan is likely to be linked with the arrival of Aston Villa’s Stephen O’Halloran who has joined United on a similar-length deal.

He's way better than Sheehan, why do we have to let him go play him
Tiny T
The new boy O'Halloran is an Irish Republic left-back. I can only assume we've brought him in as cover whilst Parker gets some first team experience.
LUFC1
Parkewr at times did look very exposed. Probably better for him to get more first team experience at another club whilst we have the lad from Villa.

I still think we need another striker the goals are drying up a bit and we cant afford to keep drawing games we are falling to far behind,i think beckford needs a new partner kandol is to hot and cold seen him play latley not impressed...............................

I have to agree, so what do we do send out one on loan and want to bring in a pensioner whose not been playing!
dazza71
He may be a pensioner but i can bet you he would score the goals we need at the minute, the pressure is on at leeds and alot of the less experience players are getting caught ouy, macca knows experience is what you need at a time like this...
