Thompson Returns to Leeds United
Veteran midfielder Alan Thompson has returned to training with Leeds following his loan at Hartlepool United.
It was Dennis the un-Wise that sent Thompson on loan following a period of bench warming for the former Celtic and Aston Villa midfielder and with Leeds United struggling, new boss Gary McAllister has opted to bring Thommo back to Elland Road.
On Thompson’s first day back at the clubs Thorp Arch training ground, manager Mac told leedsunited.com:
“We've got Alan Thompson back.”
“He's been in decent form at Hartlepool, we're looking forward to working with him, and hopefully he can bring something extra.”
